I still think TM has a quality product at a fair price for MSPs and the upcoming XDR seems impressive and excited about that, but there are some other issues I have with the way things work and this product (HES) is not getting nearly as much love as their Cloud App Security and Cloud Edge Products. I found this out when troubleshooting why the message encryption wasn't working and realized no messages were being sent to TM without this rule. Outside the organizationĭo the following.Use the following connector: To do this, go to EAC>Mail Flow>Rules> Add a ruleĪpply this rule if: The recipient is located. The steps to create the connector are there, and you even select an option "Only when I have a transport rule set up that redirects messages to this connector", but it doesn't tell you to create rule or how. The best practices guide for this setup is missing the step to create the transport rule to utilize the connector for the Outbound gateway. This is (IMO) better than their solution as it not only handles the sharing notifications, but will handle any domain or email that happens to be sent from you that isn't configured inside of Trend Micro HES to be sent through Google (if it tries to go through HES, it would get rejected). What this does is send any message sent from your domain to Trend Micro, while anything else (like [ will be sent using default Google G Suite servers.
